# Home dashboard

The Home page (`/`) is the at-a-glance overview.

- **Greeting** — "Good morning/afternoon/evening, *[name]*", today's date, and a link to your
  active cases. An **"Add deadline"** button opens the new-event dialog.
- **"To do" card** — open tasks across your active cases (and firm tasks), sorted by deadline,
  up to seven rows, each showing the task, its case (or "Firm task"), and a due/priority badge.
  Overdue shows in red, due-today in amber. "All caught up — no open tasks" when clear. Links out
  to the full board.
- **Calendar card** — a mini month calendar with dots on days that have events, an **Overdue**
  count/drawer, a **"Deadlines in [Month]"** total, and the selected day's agenda. **"View
  calendar"** opens the full calendar.
- **"Recommended next steps"** — when available, the top few AI-suggested actions across cases,
  each linking into its case.
